We have a korean dramas/actors section and a jrock one so why not korean singers. Or how they are called in korean 'gasoo' Since quite a few people listen to a few korean singers/songs I thought we should have a thread.

for me, i've listened to:
- rain
- shinhwa
- jtl
- kang ta
- h.o.t
- dong bang shin ki (tohoshinki)

my favourite korean song is acutually a ballad (amazingly) .P

it's the Full House OST, un myung.

i don't know who the singer is, can anyone tell me? .X

i don't really have a favourite korean singer but i really like jtl's and shinhwa's music.

normally koreans sound like they're speaking tamil when they rap korean 'cos it's a really queer language, but jtl and shinhwa happen to do them just fine. plus, shinhwa's really neat in their dances too .D and they're a crazier bunch of arashi like boys/ men! kangta has left h.o.t but i their music is still as catchy.

korean r and b seems like the only breed of r n b i really enjoy listening to .X

as for rain.. he's voice isn't really that good and all his songs are slow. ALMOST all. but i'm amazed by the way he dances for his slow songs. kookey yes.

i don't really like tohoshinki. their songs seem boring to me and most of them are covered versions. ah.

Sorry, I havn't watched the drama in a while.

OH! You should check out MC Hansai. His rapping flows like Shinhwa's ^^ Or so I think, in my opinion. His music has a nice mix to it.

ah yes, that why song. i thought the title was why? lol. i'm bad at this. it's a great song really.

i forgot about jeong woo hyuk too! i like his song, flip reverse! not bad either.

ah no, i didn't mean it that way about your language. i like the korean language. it's really unique. i actually bought more korean music 'cos of shinhwa! i prefer korean raps to jap. but my teacher told me she thought the koreans were unfriendly when she went there 'cos they have a really rough accent. but i like the language. it's realyl cute clapping

The Full House OST is really nice. I like 'I Think I' by Byul.

JANG WOOHYUK! I love him to death. You hardly ever hear him sing though. His dancing is amazing also.Who ever knew a 28 year old man can beat all those youngins at dancing. keke.
I love Flip Reverse. I like 'Sun That Never Sets' better though.

i could only find one of his albums here. that one with the shiny cover .X

sheesh looks like i get all the names wrong! aiyoh.

oh and se7en! i totally forgot abt him!

he sings nice songs but they're like rain's. the whole album is full of relatively slow songs except perhaps one or 2.

but i liked se7en's chinese song, this zhuo meng bai re meng song. last track of 24/7 .D i think. or i forgot which album. paisseh confused

I don't listen to that much Japanese music ~ besides Arashi only few other artists regularly. It's Korean music I listen to big grin

Does anyone listen to 'Battle'? You know the group who won Battle Shinhwa. I was watching it again where Shinhwa picks out the guys they chose to win and carry on their legacy. SO CUTE!

You're so right. Junki should so come out with albums. His voice and dancing blow me away. Everytime I hear him sing or see him dancing I drool MAJOR!
I love it best when he dances with Poppin HyunJoon. THERE'S ANOTHER ONE! I forgot to add Poppin HyunJoon since he sings now. Glad he was in Junki's single ^^

Anyone listen to Xing?
Their songs are so freaking good. I think Kevin is so cute! But he's like 8months younger than me. But his english version of In Your Hands is so nice. Their whole single album has been on repeat for 3 days already. And theres only 5 songs. big grin

Kim Hyung Joon's brother 'Kim Ki Bum' has such a nice body.

Yume is pretty cute too. But Chun Hye Sung looks so like Se7en in some angles. So hot. And his real last name is Choi also. clapping

I watched Battle Shinhwa sometimes. Dongwan's dude dropped out 'cause of studies.. Anyways.. I'm ashamed, I haven't heard their music blush

And they debuted already.. but they should change their look.. too much like SS501. Or DBSK 1-2 years ago LOL

Blew me away. You wouldn't expect that kind of talent from a group who just debut ... but I guess you can only expect the best from Shinhwa. They know how to really pick them.

Xing barely debut so it's ok.

Yes, Battle must be good. All the dances + singing in Battle Shinhwa was great!
