i didnt like kitto daijoubu the first time i heard it...also same with pikanchi. they've all grown on me now that i've listened to them several times b/c they were on a playlist that i made for my 14 1/2 hour plane ride to australia.
For me, it was definately Hero and Hitomi no naka no Galaxy. I thought they were boring and too long.. Now I like them both very much.
Also Sakurai sake was a hard one to understand. I wached one of their conserts and was like 'eh? what's with the hand thing?!' (during chorus, you know.. 'I got something slimy on my hand and can't get it off..' ..that one!)
But Sakurai sake is really a big fave of mine right now!
About Kitto daijoubu..I had heard it but sort of ignored it when someone warned me that the PV was gonna be a bit not my style.. So naturally I got curious and wached it and loved all the rainbow-boyband-bakaness instantly!!
I didn't like A Day in Our Life at first, because I'm not a big rap fan (you know with all the ho's and drugs) but once I gave that song a chance, I started to listen to it all the time

Hahahahaha! Rainbow-boyband-bakaness! It's the perfect description for that PV! Loves it!
the first time i played it was in my car, when my player was on shuffle and it finally came on. i had no idea what was going on in the song. i thought it was just looping the same rap over and over w/ some singing in the background.
the melody was nice.. of course, me driving, i can't distinguish what they're saying.
but now. this song surely grew on me. i looked up the lyrics and heard it through my earphones. i must play it at least once a day. it reminds me of simpler times, prolly cuz of the 90s-esque music and cutesy lyrics. haha.
I really didn't like Kitto daijoubu for some reason. I wasn't used to the rapping style or anything but now I love it!! It's one of my favourite songs ever. So damn catchy.
Another song I've been ignoring is Step and Go. But since watching the behind the scenes, I suddenly have a new found appreciation for it!
I actually didn't like One love when I heard it the first time.
That scottish feeling I got in the beginning of the song made little sense to me, but I've gotten used to it..
It always takes some time to get used to new songs, but that song took a little longer :p
I didn't like All or nothing at first, but for some reason, when I saw the video, I totally fell in love with the song. Probably coz I didn't pay enough attention before. Similarly, I didn't like Kotobao Taise... from Stand Up when I was watching Stand Up but really liked it after I saw their live version in Utaban. Then I was like, what was *wrong* with me earlier??

When I first heard "Love So Sweet" in MS, it didn't appeal to me. But when I listened to it over and over, and when I watched HYD2 on DVD, I started to love it. It's one of my most listened Arashi songs now.

The song that I wasn't really fond of at first was It's my Life, Hoshi no Freeway, and Hitomi no Naka no Galaxy, i don't know why, but I just didn't like them. but now I'm really fond of them, along with all of their other songs.
I didnt like One Love *maybe due to high expectations after Wish and Love so Sweet* and Pikanchi at first *because I am not a fan of raps.*
they are songs that have to be given extra chance!! AND NOW THEY ARE MY FAVOURITES!!! I guess feelings for Pikanchi developed after I watch Pikanchi daeko Happy...

I do thought that the scottish touch in one love is a bit 'not match' at first, but it grows on me somehow.
