My oldest brother and his girlfriends are planning to get a child. And the girlfriend.. is an idiot so I would prefer them to wait a long time.
My other brother asked me when I would have a baby (Come on, I'm only 18!) then I asked the same question he said that is going to take a long time.

I'm the youngest of 2, with an Elder brother.

I love having a brother, he's like one of my closest mates and we share alot of comment interests (No, Arashi is not one of them ) so we've always gotten on well. Plus, he's so laid back he's horizontal so he always put up with me when I was younger (A BRAT! grr at me). I wouldn't say he protects me, I'm quite an independant person, but he's always the one to take my mind off something if it's bothering me, which is deffinatly what I need sometimes. I guess it helps that he's only 2 years older than me too, not that big an age gap. Being compared to by our parents is more of a joke really, we have a relazed sibling rivalry XD But I always win, obviously =P He was the person to get me into Manga and Anime and Jdramas so I thank him =D

So yes, I like having a sibling and would hate it if I was an only child.

I'm the youngest, with only one older sister. Even though her 'status' is the older sister, she's like a little sister most of the time. XD She's very cheerful, optimistic and ... basically a free, young spirit. (Despite her hitting 20 in a few months.) I'm pessimistic and old at heart (around the elderly years XDD) so her personality and existence makes up for the jumbungous amount of optimisim I lack.

She and I never fought in our lives--not physically at least. The closest thing TO fighting was arguing, and that arguing was about the proper pronunciation of certain words in English as well as our native language. To other people, it seems pointless, but this is SERIOUS BUSINESS in our household. Haha.

What hurts me a little is that we're drifting a lot nowadays. She's putting her boyfriend before family, but she still watches over me. In a way, she's becoming more like an older sister now; watching over me, make sure I get home safely ... she's even spoiling me, all while making sure her relationship with her future husband is going smooth.

I never show it, nor do I ever tell her, but I appreciate all the things she's done for me. I hope all goes well for her. ♥

I have an older brother and I'm the youngest (there's only two of us).
I like having an older brother. He does stuff for me and I really look up to him. When we were younger, we physically fought a lot. I guess he aggrevated me because he was bored, or it's fun to bother the younger sister. I don't know what his problem was. Though now that we've grown up, we are really close and get along well. I like having an older brother, I guess I'm kind of a tom boy and in return he is more metro. I think it's an interesting combo.

My parents don't want me to be like the rest of my siblings. So they expect a lot more from me andit's really annoying

i'm the eldest in my family and i guess its stressful in such a way that parents expect you to lead your siblings and you have to be a good example.
my mom has got a tendency of blaming me whenever my sister does smth bad.
for example, when my sis started listening to music while she studied, my mom blamed it on me saying that it's bad example that came from me [and what have i done to her blahblah.
tht might be the biggest disadvantage so far.

I think having siblings is nice for some reasons:

1) You're not alone yes my house is noisy 24/7 (i have a sister and a brother) and if you were to call at 8pm onwards i would not be able to hear you unless i hide in the toilet because its so noisy, everyone will be shouting at someone at one point of time.
2) You can borrow their stuffs/money/ whatever when you need it but don't have it. i happen to take my sis berms all the time :p my sis takes my bags.
3) You can share good/bad moments together. yes we do laugh together, and cry together (sometimes).
4) You can team up with your bro/sis for playing or doing something. normally we team up to bully someone else. or to make my mom pissed off (for the fun of it HAHAHAH, yes we are bad kids i knowww).
5) Some Hand-me-down stuffs are nice. i do the handing downs HAHAHA.

well my brother is a really funny person, and my sister shares the same type of humor as ohno (the straight-faced i wnt laugh even though i said something funny kind) so it is really quite fun hanging out with them.
of course i'm saying this based on a regular basis, and not during one of the fights.

I am the youngest and i have 1 big brother and 1 big sister. I enjoy being the youngest, because you get all the love and caring from the family. Moreover, since i am a Chinese, during Chinese New Year, i am the one that get the most Ang Pau (a red pocket fill with certain amount of money that given by the older people in your family) and i dont have to give out any Ang Pau to them. I am such a devil, dint 1?

It sucks but at the same time it doesn't suck.

I don't know why but I'm everybody's little sister although I'm the youngest and the only girl in our family. People love to pet me especially guys. It sucks. grrrrr.

I'm an only child....It's not that bad, but sometimes it gets lonely...

Hmmm, I'd have to say that having siblings is probably one of the best things to happen in my life. We're four in total and I'm the third to be born. All the bullying during my childhood was there but now that we're all grown up (except my younger sister) we're all close to each other and it's nice sharing your problems with people who know you best.

It might not be the same for everyone but this is how we are in our family.
