I'm talking about your school's uniform!!!

1) Have you ever worn a uniform? Since when?
2) Are you now wearing uniform? do you have pics for can you describe how it is? It's for school/ college/ or university?
3) Why do you still need to wear the uniform? (Or why did you have to wear it?)
4) Do you like it?
5) Is uniform common in your country? People will wear the uniform until what grade?

here are my answers:

1) Yes I have....Since my kindergarden level until now.
2) Now I'm still wearing the uniform, it's UNIVERSITY's uniform... most of the Universities in my country have the same style of the uniform. here's the pic of it.

3) Why? We've been wearing such uniforms for over 90 years... so now it becomes tradition? Well, ppl recognize you very well where you are studying. Sometimes in benefit you half price of entering some places... (only sometimes)
4) I think having uniform is fine, but I don't want to be forced wearing it everyday. I prefer wearing just on the day I wanna wear. (And I usually did that last year... I even almost forget how to wear my own uniform!)
5) Uniforms are very common here. Uniforms can be found in any places, esp. schools and universities. Most of the school will have the same style of the uniform, as well as the universites. Only few schools/universities that have its own style of uniform. (My university's uniform is quite similar to others but that one different thing is copyrighted therefore you can be caught if you are not the student here and try to wear the same thing. )

Yes I have~! From Primary School till the end of Secondary School (This was in Malaysia). We had to wear pinafore dresses. In primary school, it was dark blue pinafore dress and a white buttoned t-shirt. In secondary school, it became a sky blue pinafore dress. However, prefects had different uniforms, depending on the school.

No, I'm not. They don't have uniforms for universities in Australia. Though sometimes I wish they do, then you wouldn't have to spend so much time thinking what to wear in the mornings~!

I had to wear it since in Malaysia, it was a regulation? I think. We're not allowed casual clothes in school. Which is not much difference in Australia I think. Most private schools here have their own set of uniforms (I'm not sure about government schools). But you won't need to wear uniforms in college or universities.

4) Do you like it?
When I had to wear it no , but now I do kind of miss it, at times.

Back in Malaysia, yes. You start wearing uniforms from primary school till the end of secondary school, i.e. 6 y.o. to 18 y.o. All uniforms are the same for all government schools. Private schools had different uniforms. I think it's the same here in Australia, except that each individual school seems to have their own uniforms.

Yes. I've worn uniform since kindergarten. And I has same uniform from primary school to high school cos I was in the same school all along.

I'm not wearing it anymore cos the university that I'm in now doesn't have one. Sometimes I feel like I wanna wear like my friends back in Thailand.

To make the students have orders, I think. Not just uniform but the hair style and shoes too. so many rules.

I liked my uniform but I didn't like the short hair that I had been told to cut for many years.

It's not uncommon to wear uniforms. I don't think I've ever seen uniforms for college, but I know high school has them. It depends on what school you go to. Most private schools have uniforms, but some public schools do to.

Qualian, I'm from the U.S. Public schools around my area don't use uniforms, but some public schools in the east and the west have uniforms.

In my country nobody wears uniforms, It's really rare here, we're very free and are allowed to wear what we want. That's pretty good I guess, but I think wearing uniforms also isn't bad!

Because private high school in australia need to wear unifrom! so yah that's why i still need to wear uniform!

erm..frankly not really. But i reakon i will miss uniform once i get in university

yes! extremey common! i think they will wear their uniform until they graduate from high school!

Yes. From kindergarten until high school. I don't think colleges have uniforms as far as I know

1) I wore uniforms since grade one until the end of high school.

2) Now that I attend uni no uniforms yay! My high school uniform had the skirt actually it looks almost exactly like the skirt the girls wear in yamada Tarou that gave me a shock XD but we wore white shirts (the shirts were terrible they were square and I felt like I was wearing a chef's outfit) and blue sweaters with them not the suit coats.

5) I live in the U.S. and I went to a private school so thats why I had to wear a uniform but most public schools where I live don't have uniforms.

Heh, I'm actually still wearing my uniform. Unfortunately, no pictures but the winter uniform (we have summer and winter uniforms -_-") looks really depressing. Especially with the black umbrellas.

It's compulsory for my school. But without uniform, people would probably see me wearing all my clothes before xD

I like the summer one, it's just a dress that's checkered black and white but the hat is revolting. The winter is well, depressing as I said before.

Yes, people in primary, middle and secondary school wear uniforms here. From Kindy to Year 12 (last grade until university).

Hahaha. We have no school uniforms in Finland
But if I had to wear one, I'd like it to be the same kind as Haruka has in Sailor Moon

3) Why do you still need to wear the uniform? (Or why did you have to wear it?) -- Well I wear hoodies because I <3 them and since it became a 'thing' for me, I decided to keep it up.

4) Do you like it? -- I do. Hoodies = <3

5) Is uniform common in your country? People will wear the uniform until what grade? -- It's uncommon, and the people that usually wear one are amongst private schools, so that could be from kindergarten-senior year of highschool...but not even uni's or colleges require uniforms anymore.

Yes of course i did. During my primary and secondary life. School uniform is compulsory in singapore. *pout* And yeap for my work at mcdonald as well. Stupid and ugly uniform.

Nah im not wearing uniform now since polytechnic doesnt require me wearing unform. HAHAHA!!

I hate uniform during my primary and seconday school life. But now since i doesnt have to wear it to school, i sort of miss wearing it. Why? At least i dun have to trouble about what to wear to school everyday.

Uniform is very common in my country. It is compulsory to wear uniform till at least secondary school.

+++since 1st grade till now. i've been in a private school in all my life.

It's for school/ college/ or university? +++my uniform skirt is plaid green and blue. there s a vest short sleeve and long sleeve. sweeter wind breaker. bluse. there ia going to be a polo. we HAVE to wear white tennis shoes and lofers on Thrusday because we go to churhc that day.on chruch day we have to wear a blazer.it is for a high school

++because it is a catholic high school. and it is requiered(sp?). on the 2nd fridays of each month we can wear jeans for a $1. and the 1st friday of each month we have sprirt day we wear out school colors or our calss color

+++it is better than choosing what to wear everyday.
5) Is uniform common in your country? People will wear the uniform until what grade? ++not really. since i am filipno. in the philippines they wear uniforms until they are in a university or in college.
