I wanted a Japanese artist to do it, so I searched for days and found a great guy in "Little Tokyo" (it's a district in LA)

Am I a hardcore fangirl or what?! Wohoo!

You're a hardcore fan indeed. It looks great. clapping Did it hurt? Eh? I on the other hand would never get a tattoo. I'm affraid of needles & when I get old & wrinkled you won't be able to tell what it is anymore. gheh ARASHI would be very flattered that a fan of theirs would permanently mark themself w/ their name. Yappari. It's the fan's Heart & support that keeps ARASHI going. They motivate us in our lives while we motivate them in their lives & career.

Thanks!

It did hurt a bit, but not as much as I thought it would. The outlining hurt more than the colouring. It was super fast too, only 10 mins! clapping

I had it done on my wrist so that I can cover it up with a bracelet if I don't feel like showing it. wink

That's awesome! You're a very dedicated fan~ (And you'd need one of Ohno's ginormous leather cuffs/bracelets to cover that up XD)

I want a tattoo, but my mom would go balllistic. I could bring my sister along since she's legal (and I'm not *FAIL*), but my sister ... opposes too. She thinks it'll gvie me a bad image. Bah!

Other than that, your tat's great!
You should tell them about in a fanmail. ;P

Arigatou minna big grin

It's healing very well, and my wrist isn't all red anymore. And yeah, I need to find me some cuff bracelets.

I'm 24 btw, so I had years and years to think before getting my one and only tattoo. I always wanted a kanji on my wrist, but just wasn't sure which on to get. And the other day I thought why not Arashi? They're so positive and funny, it'll be good to look at it on a bad day ne? Thats why I had it done facing myself.

hey yeah, thats a pretty good perspective view of your tattoo:

Maybe it'll also get other people's attention, meaning some people will obviously ask what does your tattoo mean--you can always tell them to check out ARASHI clapping ...or you can always say you just like "storm" wink

oh my... i was actually thinking of getting an arashi tattoo last week~ went as far as googling a nice "arashi" design for it. (found one even from a supposed well-known tattoo artist but the effing design alone costs US$9.99!! wtf?)

the result? i chickened out. lol~
i hate needles and blood... and pain in general. i love the boys so much and the kanji of arashi/storm is a really cool design but i don't think those factors can outweigh my fear and the pain i will endure (ahh... just thinking about it is making me cringe again. baka.)

so niji_naiz, for being a brave soul and a genuine fangirl, hats off to you clapping

@ MatsuMiya: I almost chickened out, too. Right when we got to the tattoo place, I couldn't go in and just stood there LOL. But I was with my cousin and she practically dragged me in. big grin I'm grateful to her now

As for the design, I just told the artist that I wanted the Kanji for "Arashi" and since he was Japanese he drew it in many styles and I picked the one I liked the most. He asked me if "Arashi" was my name. Lol

I think it's true that tattoos are addictive. I'm getting so many compliments on it that I sometimes think of getting one again. But I asked me cousin to hit me with a frying pan if I start to seriously talk of getting one again. 1 is enough ne?
