Jun sleeps with his co-stars. The girls are beautiful, successful and they understand the demands of the life he leads. The relationships are as brief as the projects themselves and they drift in and out of his life as easily as he does in theirs. Most importantly, they never ask for more than he’s willing to give. And he never gives more than he has to.

2.
Sho likes girls who are small, with big eyes and shy smiles. The kind that never, ever, approach him. When he tries to talk to them, his words get tangled on his tongue and he has to walk away before he makes it any worse. Now, the only girls Sho sees come with big breasts, no shame, and no chance he’ll start to care.

Nino likes girls, really, just not enough to make an effort. So it’s usually an accident when one ends up in his bed, giggling and eager to please. He likes how they feel and smell and the unique, gaspy sigh of pleasure only girls seem to make. After, he plays video games and wonders why, when he didn’t ask for them in his bed, they get annoyed when he doesn’t ask them to stay.

Aiba’s the only one of Arashi who’s ever managed to carry on a real, meaningful relationship. He’s had three girlfriends. The longest one lasting two years. The rest of Arashi desperately want to know how he does it, but like a pitcher during a hot streak, they don’t dare acknowledge the success for fear of breaking the streak.

Ohno’s the best. Or the worst, depending who you asked. There are girls, many of them. Were it anyone else, the tabloids, Johnny, and right down his mother would be hearing of every exploit and one night stand in glaring, technicolor detail. But they don’t. Because it’s Ohno, and he charms them with quiet sweetness and slightly dazed smiles. He’s so honestly bewildered, every time, that they’d want anything to do with him, that they never breathe a word to anyone.

It’s not that Johnny forbids the boys to date (though, he does forbid them to say so), or that they’re too busy to try (though, sometimes they are), or that any of them are gay (though, it’s come up more than once). The thing about girls, they each decided somewhere along the line, is that girls can’t compare with Arashi. They may come and go and sometimes even mean something, but in the end there's only Arashi.

Always, they come back to one another.
