A/N: A story I just wrote out of boredom in the office because my boss keeps forgetting to give me work to do, lol ^^; Anyway, I thought Ohno would be the best member of Arashi to be visited by a tennyo, and hence this short story. I apologise for any mistakes in advance!

Ohno sat at the head of the boat, slumping back lazily in his foldable chair as he held on to a fishing rod while he waited for a fish to bite, occasionally reeling in the line. It was late at night and he huddled even lower in his chair to fend himself from the ice cold wind that cut through his layers of jackets mercilessly. A full moon shone brightly in the sky, illuminating the waves that crashed against the hull softly, sending the boat rocking gently. Besides the obvious triumph that comes with catching your own fish, it was this atmosphere that Ohno enjoyed the most when he went fishing. A calm emptiness where there was nothing but the ocean surrounding him on all sides. A place where he could be left with his thoughts, enjoying the simplicity that is fishing.
He suddenly felt a tug on the line and sat up excitedly, peering over the edge of the boat to see what was happening. Quickly, he began reeling in his catch, pulling hard against the thing he had caught. After several minutes of this power struggle, Ohno finally managed to pull out a large fish and a triumphant grin spread across his face.
“Yatta! I caught another sea bass!” shouted Ohno to himself. He was all alone on the boat save for the captain and a crew man who were by now used to Ohno’s frequent midnight fishing trips. The boat was anchored to the spot and the captain and his crew mate had slipped off for a little nap while their master was busy with his fishing.
Ohno proceeded to unhook the fish, stepping back as the creature suddenly began flopping around on deck. “Whoa... careful there! You might get hurt before I can return you to the ocean.” As the fish calmed down, Ohno stepped forward to pick up the slippery fish, holding it out at arms length when it suddenly flicked its tail, splashing several drops of water into Ohno’s face. “Uwah! Feisty one, aren't you?” he smiled as he finally dropped the fish over the side of the deck. He stared at the spot he had dropped the fish with a soft smile on his face, the water too dark to see where the fish had disappeared to.
His tension now raised, Ohno turned around and returned to his chair where he proceeded to re-bait his fishing rod. “Yosh... this'll be the last one for tonight.” Although he would love to continue fishing until dawn broke, he knew his responsibilities. There was a rehearsal first thing tomorrow morning and he knew Jun would kill him for being late because he was out fishing all night.
Casting out the line once more, Ohno sat back down in his chair, huddling up once again against the cold night air. Silence ensued once more as he waited for a fish to take the bait, his eyelids slowly growing heavy as the minutes ticked away. The gentle rocking of the boat and soft crash of waves were beginning to lull him to sleep and more than once Ohno found himself starting awake just as he was about to fall asleep. However, as Ohno found himself drifting off to sleep for the fifth time, he was suddenly startled awake this time by the sound of a flute playing a soft, beautiful tune that reminded him of the sakura viewing festival, Hanami. Sitting up straight in his seat and rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he peered around him for the source of the magical sound. He suddenly jumped in his seat, toppling onto the deck floor when his eyes lay upon a woman sitting on the roof of the captain's cabin, staring down at him as she played her flute.
Ohno could not tear his eyes away from her. She was magnificent, her pale skin glowing brightly in the bright moonlight, the gentle breeze tousling her long black hair around her face mysteriously. The bright, five coloured kimono that she was wearing only added to her mysterious aura, appearing to be made out of fine, silky feathers. Draped over her arms were three translucent scarves that billowed in the wind, completing the picture of a beautiful tennyo.
Tennyo... Ohno suddenly realised what he was staring at and his eyes flew wide. Awkwardly, he got back up onto his feet, rectifying his fallen deck chair without ever taking his eyes off the tennyo. However, as soon as Ohno started moving, the tennyo suddenly stopped playing her flute, placing it down gracefully on her lap as she stared at Ohno, who continued to stare back up at her with a blank look on his face.
Gathering courage from somewhere, Ohno suddenly said, “H... hello...”
Although he could not see her face, Ohno could sense that the tennyo had suddenly smiled. She suddenly spread her arms out wide, floating down onto the deck, landing just before the bewildered Ohno. “I have been watching you for a while, Satoshi, before I decided to entertain you with the sound of my flute,” said the tennyo, her voice just as melodious as the said instrument.
Ohno suddenly shivered, but not from the cold. “That's... that's nice of you,” he replied, feeling slightly awkward and nervous under the tennyo’s stare. Then his eyes flew wide in surprise as something she said suddenly clicked in his brain. “You know my name?”
The tennyo let out a soft chuckle and the breeze finally changed direction to blow her hair from her face, revealing the soft features of a woman who could rival the most famous of geishas. “Like I said, I have been watching you for a while, Satoshi..." she said softly, a warmth in her eyes that made Ohno melt on the spot. She suddenly reached out a hand, gently cupping the side of Ohno’s face. “We go a long way back together...”
Entranced by the warmth of the tennyo’s hand on his face, Ohno suddenly reached out and cupped the tennyo’s face in kind, his eyes darkening slightly as a name surfaced in his mind. “Hanari...” he whispered, and the tennyo’s smile brightened even further.
“Satoshi...” whispered the tennyo, leaning in to place her warm lips against Ohno’s waiting ones.

Jun peered down at his watch for the tenth time that morning, frowning in annoyance. He then turned to look at the door, uncrossing his legs before standing up from his seat. “He's late. Has he gone fishing all night again?”
Nino shuffled his deck of cards over at a table, spreading them out in a fan for Aiba to choose a card. “Yeah, but he did promise to arrive on time today. Remember that card, okay, Aiba-chan?”
Aiba peered at the card, leaning back slightly on his chair towards the sofa where Sho was seated with a newspaper and showed him what card he had picked. “Okay, what next?”
Nino then began shuffling the deck of cards. “Tell me when you want me to stop.”
“Stop,” said Aiba straight away.
Nino stoped shuffling and cut the deck in half. “Pla-”
The door to the change room suddenly opened and Ohno stepped into the room, rushing over to his table where he hastily placed down his duffel bag. Jun strolled over to stand behind Ohno with a disapproving look on his face. “It's about time you showed up, Riida. What happened? Rehearsal was supposed to start around half an hour ago.”
Ohno bowed in apology towards Jun. “Sumimasen, minna... I only just woke up on my boat about two hours ago and found my captain had fallen asleep the whole night as well.”
“That's what happens when you stay up all night fishing, Riida,” stated Sho matter-of-factly as he turned the page of his newspaper.
Ohno cocked his head to the side, a small mysterious smile on his face. “I suppose so… I promise I won't do this again.”
The annoyed look on Jun’s face finally disappeared, only to be replaced with his serious work face. “Yosh! Then let's get this rehearsal started! I have some new ideas for the chorus...” Jun continued to discuss his new idea as he stepped out of the change room and the others began following him.
“I'll join you guys outside in a minute after I get changed,” shouted Ohno after his band mates. As he turned back to reach into his duffel bag to pull out a shirt and a pair of track pants, his hands suddenly connected with something cool. A small smile curved the corner of his mouth as he wrapped his hand around the object and pulled it out of the bag.
It was Hanari’s flute, and in the daylight he could see that it was made out of a silvery-pink metal with fine intricate flowers etched into the surface. The flute sat in his hand, almost insubstantial as it had almost no weight. Ohno then spotted a rolled up piece of parchment slotted into the end of the flute and curiously pulled it out, unrolling the small piece of paper to reveal the flowing script of a woman.
Tonight, I shall fly down from heaven again.
Smiling, Ohno rolled up the piece of paper and placed it back into the pipe, returning it to his bag. He picked up his clothes and began changing.

Beautifully written. Your description really portrays the grace of the tennyo and the heavenly atmosphere of the scene. Love it~
I've always been a lurker around here and I read this fic before but I didn't comment, gomen! Just that I always hated how the fanfic community lacked ficcies with depth and some good throw of vocabulary, but you're one of the writers here who fulfill my high expectations. Thank you! <3
