HERE's the TRANSLATION

NINO:

Aiba - Are you working hard to be popular/ƒ‚ƒe‚é?
Ninomiya - No way, even if i didnt do anything i'd still be popular/ƒ‚ƒe‚é you know. (laughs) Aiba-kun is a popular/l‹C person. Most of the people i know call him "funny", but not "cool". (laughs)
Aiba - Thats upsetting, I wonder why, ne.
Ninomiya - Probably because you can talk to people so easily. And youre really kind. You have that American-ish love for your family too, even if youre from Chiba.
Aiba - I do love my family.
Ninomiya - See, wasnt that very American just now, that phrase. (laughs) He never had a rebellious age, so not only with girls, but hes normally kind by nature. Its like he works as hard as he can to make it fun for the guests on our show or people hes just met, so that they can say that they really did have fun when it's all over and done.
Aiba - Nino is kind as well. I think of his messing with you when you want to be messed with as his kindness. We often have fun together, but I'm always so pushy with how i invite people out. I ask like "you'll go tomorrow?", but its half forced.
Ninomiya - You say it more like, "You'll go tomorrow!", and its decided.
Aiba - Heheheh. (laughs)
Ninomiya - You aren't really aware of others too much. But, we both understand each other well. If i told him "hey lend me that thing", he'd probably pull out the thing i was thinking of and lend me it. And I'd do the same for him.
Aiba - Because we've been together for 11 years now right? We could both become pretty decent managers for each other. (laughs) "Dont you just want to take on the world together with friends bound together like that?" If we get overly upset over whether we win or lose, I feel like i'd lose sight of why we're doing it. From now on, I'll do as much as i can with all my might, even if we collide its ok! Even if we're popular or not, whats cool is not worrying about it. That's today's conclusion!

very interesting and so informative. i was really struck by nino's answers. i just realize that we are similar. he is somewhat stubborn, that he doesn't care what other people say, and that he will like to have 10 of the same kind as long as they like them, and he will stick to what he's been doing, even if it doesn't work the first time. i view that in a positive way, that he doesn't give up easily on the things that he really love or for what he is. and its ok for him not to be perfect (but he recognize that he is good hahaha).
