i love taiwanse dramas my favourites are: hana kimi, it started with a kiss, mars, devil beside you, tokyo juliet, the rose etc.

Tokyo Juliet was nice. A bit different from the usual love-dramas from Taiwan.

I've watched many of taiwan dramas but if i recap back, i watched more japanese drama then taiwan drama. and my taiwan idol is non other then Show luo! He is super cute. And very hilarious. He is friendly to his fan who is non-chinese. Hehes. and i still remember he once said "aku cinta kamu". in english means 'i love you' hehe. smile

my favorite TW drama, by far, is hana kimi. it's hilarious! i watched it like... 3 times. haha! i really love how wu chun, jiro wang and ella acted in this one... the other characters as well, especially danson tang and tang zhi ping. they were so funny!

the other TW dramas i've watched are:

-the rose
-reaching for the stars
-ISWAK
-meteor garden (this was the very first one i watched)
-romantic princess
-the X-family

i see a huge difference in j-dramas and TW dramas: tw dramas are more... quirky. if that's the right word. j-dramas are a little more on the serious side, but i still love them smile

I would have to say my favorite is still Meteor Garden. big grin

It was the very first Taiwanese Drama I watched and it paved the way for my fascination with the Asian culture. smile

Other favorites include:
* Poor Prince
* At the Dolphin Bay
* Lavender
* God Mars -- Zaizai's so good in this one! Heart

I have yet to watch Hana Kimi TW. big grin

I am chinese, i was born in HK and lvied in HK, but i study in an internation school.

I have no interest in Taiwanese groups...i think i am too ocuupied with jap ones...but..if i have to name one that seems to be clsoe the the japanese kinds i'd say fahrenheit

and honestly...i can't stand the HK and chinese(china) actors...i don't see any charm in them. I attempted to try and understand the fans...but i guess it's impossible for me. I don't think HK idols can sing and dance well...i do;t like their songs as well...thier concerts are not as fun as the japanese ones, their shows are plain....

i apologize if I offended anyone there...

I think Fate to Love You is a good drama and people should go and watch it.I like it very much.I do not really watch HK dramas and I think most Taiwanese dramas are pretty much the same.I prefer Japanese dramas a lot more.Japanese dramas are short and straight to the point but Taiwanese dramas are really draggy and most scenes are really unecessary and predictable.

Urgh I hate taiwanese dramas (no offence). The storylines are almost the same. Girl meets guy, they are not on good terms and they fall in love with each other through some incidents, some weird crisis they have to overcome together and happily ever after. Its always along the same line. And the thing is the idols don't know how to act properly. Their acting are not very real. (no offence again its my personal opinion)

Whereas I love hk and japanese dramas. Hk and japanese dramas' plots are very interesting and innovative and are one of a kind. The actors' actings are very good too.

I used to watch Fated to love you but I have to say that I was so disappointed with the end..
I was like: DID I WATCH the whole thing for this!??!

At the moment I'm watching Hot Shot and Miss no good

Hot shot is about basketball.. and Jerry Yan is starring, do I need to say more?! drooling

no but..it was a bit slow in the middle but it is getting more interesting now!

Also Jerry's song (the theme end song) is Heart

but I can't find a proper version of it..since it hasnt been released which SUCKS!!!

Miss no good is starring Will Pan and Rainie Yang and it is a fun show.. but seriously it's ringing in my ears every time Rainie is opening her mouth.
I mean we know she is supposed to act weird and stupied but does she have to have that voice!?
Will is really HOT in this drama and it's fun to see him... smile

I love the theme songs.. ie. Rainies.
And if you take a closer look at her new album you will see that she has "grown"~~
