WHAT IS NINO'S LUNCH?


Nino’s doing it again—playing games. Before it was games, then he got addicted to magic (oh please, NO!) the now its games again. When will he ever stop?

“NO!”
“Throw this away!”
“It’s not like its going to scream anyway”
“Oi, oi! Stop throwing that!”
“It’ll do you no good, telling him stop”
“But its mine!”
“Give it to him”
“Why?”
“Just… Throw to either Nino or Riida”
“I’ll throw it to Riida, Nino’s busy playing”


Their voices rang on Ohno’s head, though he’s listening he can’t identify the owners of those voices because he was busy thinking about How’s and Why’s. And before he realized what is happening the one the other three are playing at got thrown to him.

“Who owns this?” Ohno waved the red and white cap with his left hand, though he already know who owns it.

“Arigatou Riida, Aiba took it from my drawer this morning. And now Jun is teaming up with him” Sho answered taking the cap from their leader’s hands, and he added as an afterthought, “Should we go get something to eat?”

Ohno smiled, now Nino has no choice but to stop playing and join them. “yeah, we should” he agreed, standing up, he waited for him to stand up too and join them—but he didn’t.

“I don’t really like to eat, just go on without me” Nino answered, not even bothering to look up and see Ohno’s pained face.

“Ok!~ Let’s go! What should we eat?” Sho listed all the possible places for them to eat as the three of them went out the room.

Only the two of them are left inside the room, no one even bothering to talk. Nino is busy with his games and Ohno just stared at Nino’s serious face. Should he go and eat or should he stay with Nino? Even though he wanted to stay, he knew it’ll do him no difference. And so, he went out and bumped to Minami.

“Ohno-san! Isashiburi na~” Minami greeted happily, “Are you going out to eat lunch?” her voice was loud enough to enter the room.

“Yes I am, you?” Ohno answered, glad that Minami is still the same as ever.

“Aah… I’m planning to eat too, are you going alone? How about we eat together?” she offered, and he knew she meant well.

“Actually…” Ohno wanted to say no, but it’ll be rude to do so. And even before he could make up his mind, someone popped out from behind.

“Minami-san! I thought I heard your voice!” Nino greeted with a smile plastered on his face, “Oh-chan and I are going out to eat”

Ohno stood surprised and turned around to look at Nino. What’s he talking about? I was supposed to eat with Sho, Jun and Aiba, not with him…

“Oh! So he was waiting for you? I guess the two of you should get going” Minami said her good bye and left.

For a minute Nino and Ohno said nothing.

“Are you going to answer ‘yes’ to her Oh-chan?” Nino asked a hurt expression visible in his face.

“No, but I thought its not so bad since she already made the offer” Ohno answered, going inside and feeling full all of a sudden.

“Why didn’t you ask me to go with you?” Nino asked following him inside and sitting beside him, “I would have gone with you if you had just asked me”

“But I did!” Ohno protested, “But you said you’ll rather stay here..”

Nino laughed, “Oh-cahn, if I had said ‘yes’ then, then we’ll have to eat with them. I waited for you to ask me again, but you didn’t”

“Oh…” was Ohno’s only reply

“ja~ Lets eat?” Nino asked bringing out a bag, “I made bento, I don’t want to pay for foods outside”

While Ohno was eating he was busy staring at Nino who hasn’t touched his food. And now, he realized, Nino’s back to ignoring him.

“Oh-chan, you’re bothered with something. Doushitano?” Nino asked, still concentrated on his game.

Ohno shook his head, He can tell??, “I was just wondering why your not eating…”

Nino suddenly put down his game and went near Ohno’s face, and their lips just a breath away, “I’m just about to taste my lunch, Oh-chan” and he pressed his lips on Oh-chan’s for a brief kiss, “There, I already had my luch and I’m full already~ it tasted so good.”




So What is Nino’s Lunch?
Answer: a kiss with his Oh-chan
