Hi! I'm not really Thai (I hope that's okay even if I post here. By the way, I'm a Filipino.) but I went to Thailand just last week. I was hoping to fing Arashi all over, albums and DVDs, you know, just an indication that they're famous over there because I saw the AAA DVD and they had a lot of fans! However to my dismay, I wasn't able to see a lot of Arashi stuff. Only old albums in some stores in Siam Square (Although Kinokuniya has magazines and Ohno's photobook (",)). Is Arashi fading in Thailand? Because I got to see more Korean stuff than Japanese. Or maybe it's just me, I didn't look hard enough. Here in the Philippines, we don't get original Arashi stuff as they're not quite popular there.
Hope nobody's offended by my intrusion.
Welcome Welcome, heartangel103!!!
It's ok!! You don't have to be thai to join this room.(the only problem is that we usually type in thai with thai's own characters, that's all! LOL)
How did you like Thailand? Was it a good moment during your trip there?
I'm very sorry to say that, what you have mentioned is more than true.... We all know well that now the J-pop fashion is out-date for Thai people and now they're(or we?) Extremely into K-pop culture. Not only the teenagers or the young people, but I assume that it's among every generation!!!!!
And now we have another problem that GMM grammy who held the license over Arashi had decided to discontinue the license with Arashi. Apparently none of the entertainment company shows the willingness to take over the license for Arashi. As you can see, the lastest Arashi's Thai edition goods is "ARASHIC" album, and "Iza, Now" concert's VCD re-issued edition. (And Re-issued of 5x5?)
Another thing I should mention is GMM just took over Arashi from EMI (Which "One" album is the last album under EMI) So when GMM had taken over Arashi and started to re-issue many of the old albums and works, all the old CDs and DVDs under EMI label had to be returned to EMI. Very few CD shops that still keep those CDs, but even "Ishimaru" the most famous J-pop shop in Siam also returned "ALL" of Arashi's merchandise under EMI label!!!! (I know this because I SAW THEM WITH MY OWN 2 EYES!!!! It was my last goodbye to all Arashi goodies in Thailand)
In other words.....
Arashi is now gone from Thailand...........
Let's hope that Hanadan and Hidden Fortress can help bringing them back to Thailand again....

^^ Thanks for the warm welcome! (",)
Really?!? I feel bad for the Thai fans! That would just really suck for them, for you guys, wouldn't it? After experiencing all that Arashi craze and now they're being pulled out... *Sigh*
I also went to Ishimaru in Siam (It took me a while to find it!) because I've heard that they have Arashi stuff over there but to my dismay, they too didn't have any. It's sad... o_O I wonder how Arashi feels now, I mean, after all they did go to Thailand and had a great time with you guys and now just because of some company issues they can't reach out to you guys.
By the way, I had fun in Thailand! I loved the shopping in Chatuchak or should I say Jatujak? (",) And Thai food is definitely OISHI! <3 Thailand also has very beatiful beaches! We went to Koh Samed. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the boat ride to Koh Samed. I got a little seasick. o_O Hehe.
Hello Everyone!! I am a new member here.My name is Pang.
Actually i am living in Kyushuu, (not yet be fluent in Japanese).
After my first time for Arashi concert (it's in Fukuoka Yahoo dome last week) It was so great and still i want to know more and also share more about them.
I wondered how many members here are Thai. It makes me feel like we are big family here sharing our interests.

Hi everyone!
I'm going to be in Bangkok next week and would like to know if there any stores where I could buy Arashi and Arashi related stuff from? If so, could you please tell me?
