What kind of role should Jun play?

As has been said in this thread before, the romantic role fits him well. And, it would be a great challenge to his acting skills if he were to act in a different role.

I'd like to see him as a dark brooding writer or artist, preferably a playwright, a novelist, a pianist or composer. And I think he'd fit the psycho stalker type, too.

I think Ohno is doing an amazing job, of course, but imagine if Jun was Naruse Ryo in Maou... WTH

Whilst Ohno does a great heartless, emotionless "all-I-care-about-is-revenge" stare into the camera, I think Jun's would be an incredible EVIL "I'm-gonna-kill-you-so-slowly-and-painfully" glare. Hahaha, I think that might be a little bit too scary ^_^ And possibly incredibly hot. *Ahem*...

I so agree with you! I would love to see him in a more darker role. Those scary stares... Then he'd be more KAKKOII!

he's already done the rich guy, the chef, the student, the brooding guy....hmm, he sure has done a lot of roles. Ah, he was really enjoyable as an adorable dorky guy in pikanchi. it would nice to see him be an idiot. we need to see more funny matsujun 'cause he is capable of being funny even though he has that otonappoi image (so adult-like).

I agree that him playing an EVIL character would suit him really well. For some reason, the image of a psychotic MatsuJun holding a knife with blood splattered on his face and a maniac's grin on his lips would be soooooo good!

I also agree on the supernatural/dark lord/vampire role. I think he would make a really good vampire. Imagine his hands gripping his victim while his teeth grazed that person's neck, then you'd see his incisors grow just before they sink into skin. Then after, he would lick the blood from his lips. Kyaaa!!!!

dunno if someone saw the anime Fruits Basket i think Jun would suit the role of Kyo big grin

I'd like to see Matsujun play a gay role. No need to cross dress just has to be really girly. I think he'll get away with it because he's a versatile actor...

minna-san I still want him to end up with a girl because the story would be that he needs to be gay just to get close to the girl he really really likes and he happens to be mistaken as a gay so he has to pretend to be gay all throughout their getting-to-know-each-other scene... I'm imagining it to be a romantic comedy and I think it'll be lovely to see the hilarious side of Matsujun

I'd like to see him more romantic comedies. Sort of like Hana Yori Dango but not a rich, arrogant character. Hehe. I'd also like to see him in a role like his Pikanchi one. That totally had me laughing! Or something like what Nino and Sho did in Yamada Tarou! clapping

he's played all sorts of roles already! but i think what suited him the most would be a serious guy like sawada shin or something. it seemed really effortless for him! domyouji's role had him stretching a little bit and his role in bambino had him really stretching.

final answer: cool collected guy. sawada shin-like basically smile
