CHAPTER 11

Five days had passed by since Ohno’s discharged. The members were constantly visiting and calling Ohno’s phone making sure if he was eating properly. Amongst them, Nino was the one who visits and persistently stayed overnight, explaining that he needs to monitor his bestfriend’s health.



“Ne, Oh-chan! What’s with that face of yours? Huh? Eat!” Nino yelled like a mother.



“But I’m full.” Ohno glowered.



“No. You’ve only eaten quarts of the noodles I’ve made! Don’t be such a child and eat!”



Ohno pouted.



“Do you want me to feed you?”



Ohno shook his head.



“Then better eat!” Nino gave Ohno his chopsticks.



“Kaa-chan!” Ohno shouted. He stood and went to the door when Nino grabbed his wrist.



“Not so fast Satoshi. Sit!”



Visible tears can be seen to Ohno’s eyes.



“Nu-uh. No tears Satoshi.” Ohno bowed his head. “By the way, your mom said that she couldn’t make it tonight. Something about your aunt and house in Osaka.”



Ohno looked at Nino. “Why didn’t she tell me?”



“Simply because she knows I will be here to take care of you.” Nino proudly said. “Ah, wait! I forgot. I’ve just made a dessert.” Nino said while going out of the room. “Better eat everything I made, Satoshi.” Nino winked before closing the door.



Ohno smiled. I missed this. This closeness. He picked his chopsticks and began eating. It’s nice to tease Nino.



That day was one of the memorable ones for Ohno. Nino did stay overnight and they both shared the bed of Ohno, wrapped in each other’s arms.

The next day, Nino was called to a photo taking for his upcoming drama. Ohno was still alone, knowing that his mother will come back at the afternoon. Doing nothing, he opened his treasure box and brought out his precious necklace. Chuckling, he went to a mirror and put it around his neck. He was staring at his reflection when he was interrupted by the doorbell.



“Please wait!” He shouted while running to the door. It was weird still pressing the doorbell since they just come and go. But what he found at his doorstep was not very much expected. “Hiroiki-san.”



“Good morning, Ohno-san.” The woman bowed down. “Sorry for the sudden visit.”



“Ah, no. It’s okay. Come in.” he led the woman to the living room. “Do you want some juice?”



“No, thank you.” She sat down, opposite to Ohno. “I just want to talk to you.”



“What is it?”



“It’s just that Nino’s avoiding me…” She said while her head was faced down. “…ever since you’ve been hospitalized.”



“Nino’s not saying anything to me. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Do you want me to talk to Nino?” he asked. He smiled to the woman.



The woman began to laugh. “It’s funny, you know.” But Ohno was alarmed when the woman, despite laughing, began crying. “I’m sorry. It’s just a mixed feelings. Don’t mind me please.”



“Hiroiki-san, you can tell me if there was something bothering you.” Ohno stood and went to hug the woman.



“It’s funny because… hiccups…. Because Nino… hiccups… he broke up with me…” Ohno was stunned. Nino breaking up with Nami. After all the sacrifice he has done! “I was at fault too, you know.”



“Hiroiki-san.”



“I… I made myself think that… that he actually loves me too.”

That afternoon, Nino came back to Ohno’s house. Upon entering, he was stunned to see Nami peacefully sleeping in the couch, covered with a blanket. “Nami-san?” He quickly went to find Ohno. “Oh-chan?” He went to dining area and found the man, sitting on a chair and staring into a space. “Oh-chan.” He called.



Ohno looked at Nino, tried his best to smile. “You came back.”



Nino sat beside Ohno. “What is Nami-san doing here?”



“For comfort, I guess?” Ohno bitterly answered.



“What? Why would she come to you?!” Nino yelled.



“Tone down. I don’t want you to disturb her sleep.” Ohno said. “Besides, you’ve already broke up with her, so why would still ask that?”



“How…?”



“You know, I’ve sacrificed many things just to make you two work out. And now, you repay me with this?” Ohno said with little anger visible to his voice.



“It’s your decision to help us, so don’t give me that tone as if I’ve forced you to do it!” Nino stood up. He turned his back to the man, preventing the man to see his teary eyes. I was doing it for my sake, for pete’s sake!


“As the leader of the group, you are my responsibility. What would the people think if they found this out? Huh?”



“It’s normal to fall in and out of love easily. Why make a big deal out of it?!” Nino’s tears fell. He tried his best to hide it through his voice, but to no avail, Ohno could sense if there was something wrong with him immediately.



“Nino…” Ohno stood and pulled Nino towards him.



“No!” He withdraws his hand from Ohno. “You were so fast in leading to other’s side. You didn’t even consider what was I was feeling!”



“What… Ah, I want to know your side, Nino. To protect you from the press, I’m going to face them again. So please, tell me what you are currently feeling.” Ohno tried again pulling the man to him, and he hugged him. “Tell me Nino.”



Crying, Nino didn’t know what to respond. “I… hiccups… I…” It didn’t help that Ohno’s caressing his back. “I… you don’t want to know it… Ohno.”



“What? But why? I’m here for you, Nino.” Because Nino’s crying, he also have this urge to cry, since he doesn’t want Nino to be sad.



“Because you might ignore me… hiccups… if I told you what… my feeling was…” His chest hurts. Is loving Oh-chan really that painful?



“Don’t you dare tell me what I will feel, Nino.”



“I… hiccups… I…” with courage, he told Ohno his feelings. “I… love you…”



There and then, he felt Ohno stiffened.

wah nino confessed!!! but kinda sad still cuz of nami-san but why did ohno-kun stiffen T_T lol say you love him backkkk
