yep! since I was in kindergarten until high school... at university I no longer have to wear uniforms but we do have a uniform blazer (mine's a yellow blazer.. hahaha)

no, I'm already in university... we only wear our blazer in special occasion (ex: university's anniversary)

yes... usually from kindergarten until high school...
moreover, for public school the uniforms are almost the same through my country (not depend on the school) except for friday... (that's why I can actually tell that mrs.bariandra and I are from the same country... hahaha)
for kindergarten the uniforms different from one school to another since there are no public kindergarten...
and for university, even if it's a public university they have different blazer color and different university symbol

~~it's required in our school. you won't be able to enter the school if you're not in complete uniform. i also didn't want to be kicked out of the school because i didn't wear the school uniform.

~~yes. as a matter of fact, i do. i wouldn't want to wear anything i like because that would take a really long time. plus, it's comfy.

- Now, I'm already working so I'm not wearing one already.
- From Pre-school to my last year in high school, we wore skirts.
- For college, we were in blouse and pants. lol. I loved our uniform despite of it not looking too girly. I am not too girly myself so I do prefer pants over skirts.

- School rules? I didn't wanna get kicked out by wearing casual clothes to school. lol. But I think it was better that way coz I didn't have to spend for clothes.

- depends on the school. for private schools, they usually have uniforms. but it's not that big a deal as in Japan. lol.

It's very common. In fact, all the schools all over the country wear the same uniforms! Except different colors but the dressing scheme is that same. The people here in Malaysia wear it until the last year of High School. : D

Girls had an option of wearing a jumper, navy slacks/shorts, or a navy plaid skirt with red and yellow stripes with a white polo shirt or white button down shirt. We also had red or navy school sweatshirts and these red and navy button up sweaters with HUGE buttons.

By the time you were in 7/8th grade, for a girl, no matter how cold it was, we always wore skirts. Some of the girls would even roll up their skirts to make them appear shorter. We used to get into so much trouble for doing that XD.

I went to Catholic school, so we had to wear uniforms.

I didn't mind it, I always thought those preppy girls who tore up their skirts on the last day of school were weirdos. I actually would prefere a uniform right now in highschool- if it was cute XD. I hate the feeling of not being able to find the right outfit for the day...

I've always been wearing a uniform when i go to school (i live in Hong Kong, but i study in an international school from Primay 5, i guess that's Year 5?)

Yep, i am in Year 11 (secondary school). Mine is a (summer) white short sleeved blouse and navy blue skort for junior and khaki for seniors and ankle white socks.
For winter, it's long sleeves, optional sweater and navy tight and tie.

For my school, most girl leave their top 2 buttons undone, and roll their skort up so it's thigh length :P

Well? i guess most or all hong kong schools requires uniform, so it would be a less fashion show every day? i guess? but we don;t need uniforms in Uni.

I didnt mind it really! well since I am kinda lazy in the morning its kinda like a hassle picking clothes evry single day so uniforms were appropriate! I liked it except for the sixth grade one.. IT WAS LIME GREEN!

Yes very common ! Every school here has uniform, goverment or private. The government schools here have the same uniforms, but private schools have their own ones. Uniforms over here are from KG until High School, no uniform for universities and colleges.

I think it was to identify which school we're from and also to identify the fact that we're students [for events etc].

Uniforms are used by Catholic Schools and some public schools here in Toronto. People wear it during high school. Most elementaries don't have uniforms.
In the Manila, uniform is so common. Only a couple of universities doesn't have a uniform.

Had no choice when going to high school, jr. high and middle school. That was the dress code.

Actually, yeah. When I went to high school, we had windbreaker type of uniforms so I never had to wear a skirt all the time. =D

I've never had a uniform in my life! In france, public schools don't have uniforms... and i feel quite sad about that...
when i was young, it would have saved me the whole "rich and trendy clothes are the best, go away you nerd in your oh so not cool clothes" period ... seriously.

yes. i have loads but i'm to lazy to upload them . i have many different kinds of uniform (i always change school every year cuz i move from one place to another every year). my uniform in the current school now is white shirt with grey and red stripes and red skirt. last year's one is nicer, i think. white shirt & green tartan skirt (those school ppl change the uniform recently :( ).

i'm still in high school and it's one of the rules but sometimes i can wear any shirt i want as long as i still wear the skirt.

there are times i like it or i hate it. i used to hate it so much , but now i think it's better to have uniform cuz my friend in france goes to public school, and she's always confused with what to wear to school

it's very common. private and public schools have uniforms, but most public/government schools have similar uniforms, while private ones have more unique uniforms. students have to wear uniform in my country. i just know few schools that let their students to wear anything they want.
