What makes Arashi Famous Internationally?

That one's hard. Like choosing if you like their shows more than their music etc..
I enjoy their shows just as much as I enjoy their music, actually, and I've always loved to see the greit relationship they have with each other.. No fun seeing a band not with good relations, but I'd say their skills to just entertain people from around the world, even though their Japanese or not. It doesn't matter, cause they communicate in their own way through everything they do! smile

becoz of their public appearance... i've come to know arashi bcos of matsujun in gokusen =)
but then, i grew to love them more bcoz of their friendship!!

i think their public appearances really do the magic.. a lot of arashi fans got hooked because they saw nino and jun's and sho's dramas. more of jun's though.. and personally, i really love watching their tv appearances in different japanese shows. especially those in hey hey hey and of course utaban.. that's what i love most about arashi

I go for Public Appearance too. Compared to many other celebrities, their exposure to the audience seems to be everywhere. It's like Arashi dominates the Jpop market LOL. Though we see their real baka moments in variety shows,it seems like 'they' are still the focus.

Though it was their music that fascinated me, nino's dramas that baited me.... they are able to sustain their popularity partly because of the continuous 'dose' of Arashi we are getting. Apart from their genuine friendship,I think its the amount of entertainment we are enjoying through their variety shows ,TV dramas and concerts! I esp love their music!

I wonder if japanese fans who have more contact with Arashi ever got sick of it?

Their public appearances (dramas), apparently. Because that's how I got to know them. I must admit I'm a Jun-bait, but as I got to know them esp. their personalities, I learned to love not just Jun, but everyone, equally.

I voted for public appearance, that's at least how I learned about Arashi. I watched HYD and then wanted to know more about Jun. And then there's also their other TV-shows where you get to see what they are "really" like, you see them as themselves (for as far as that is true). I guess then you see how close they are as friends and that makes people love them.

I'd have to say their TV shows because people get to know more about them as a group and like them because of their shows. Also, when their songs are featured in doramas - like A day in our life in Kisarazu or Wish for HYD, or even Stand Up's theme song - people would think, hey this song is nice to hear and then start listening to Arashi.

As for doramas, that's true too but you won't necessarily be interested in Arashi the group because you saw one of them act, right? At least, I wasn't when I first saw Gokusen or even Stand Up. I only started seeing them as a group with D no Arashi, MMA and so on. And of course the songs associated with their doramas.

But I guess we also only notice them because of these things, but continue to like them long afterwards because of their friendship. I mean there are other groups and other actors, but I like Arashi best because of their friendship with each other. Its really nice.

It's gor to be their talent and skills. If You are no good at it then you're no good. Looks just not that big deal for me but somehow it adds points, it's the talent that matters most when bieng a celebrity. big grin

that's an exposure for sure..coz,lots of people get to see those even through internet..

this one is pretty hard. for me what make them famous internationally
is their friendship.how they treat each other and the bond with them.

i chose public appearances but specifically, i say it's because of their dramas. i guess it's coz of personal experience too!

arashi members have been all over really! nino was in hollywood and ohno's probably known in korea as the lead in the japanese remake of maou right? matsujun's been amazing in the drama business! sho's a newscaster and he was the announcer for NTV's coverage of the olympics! aiba's also been about everywhere, especially with his hosting work and all! but then that's just how they get to be known as celebrities!

as singers, i think they become known coz of the dramas too. they sing the theme songs of the dramas they're in after all! personally, i encountered wish, love so sweet and happiness through the dramas the members were in!

Have to agree with that!
Their public appearances is the catalyst! Cos i was Jun-baited myself after watching HYD. ;)

But once you watch them interact on their various shows, you jus fall in love with them eh? I love them on MMA!! It really shows their fantastic personalities when they care for their "granparents"!!
