First of all, thanks so much to the subbing team for subbing it ^___^

I just finished watching it and my eyes are nearly swollen shut blush
This is really a heart-touching movie, and Nino's acting was mind blowing (well it's Nino, what do you expect :P).

The parts where Nino makes his promises to his brother and the nurse, and the end really made me break down ~sigh~

Since Kazunori sounds so much like Kazunari, when they kept saying "Kazunori won't make it," it hurt really bad Sad no

10/10 and a must-watch smile

this drama is really a must see..
i was crying my eyes out on this one.
nino's acting was effective and superb.he portayed the character very well..
even the song they were singing makes me cry..it is so melancholic..
i was moved to tears when kazunori and the mom was crying together in the hospital*i think this were the final moments of kazunori*...cry
and the part where the mom was like having a vision of kazunori running towards her with a diploma in his hand and was looking so happy.. cry

a very good drama.very touching..

This drama made me cry so much. I could feel the pain of going through the situation and Nino really did a superbly wonderful job.
My eyes were really popping out red. For me, the most saddest part was when his brother came back and saw his picture with the black and white ribbon which symbolized death.
This is a MUST WATCH.

oh how sad it is that nino's character died in the drama

i wanted him to end up with the nurse hehe that's why it was sad when he said, sorry because he can't keep his promise to leave blah blah blah

I really love to watch this drama, many times (can't count).
I cried not because it's sad but because of the relationships, friendships (when his classmates rushed into official meeting and asked for Kazu's graduation).
Love the scene when he said "but the ramen that okasa makes is the best."
And my favorite scene is last scene when his mom leaves the school and Kazu's image is above the sky. I always stop at this scene for a long time smile
Really like the them song, and keep singing it . Love the music, too.
Actually, I've learned a lot from this touching drama. Kazunori was really brave, consistent, and he finally made it.
Nino played such a great role.
This drama is also the first step for me to know Nino, then Arashi later, and now sink into Arashi's world smile

I totally cried within the first 20 minutes of it, not cry but like tearing and then the tears came during the SP. He's such a great actor and to be able to shave ones head for it was like "wow" esp. since it was then he would audition? for LFIJ

And haha he shows off his excellent ping pong skills XD

This looks interesting.

At first, I really didn't see anything special w/ Nino's acting skills. I didn't think that he was bad, he just wasn't -good- to me. But then I saw Marathon and went "Whoa~"

Srsly, my love for this kid in growing. I'll grab this one, okay? Hopefully I won't get some weirdish heart attack or sth. smile

Thanks. blush

i didn't expect to cry after seeing this, but i ended up doing so. Nino delivers a very convincing and heartbreaking performance that even i, one who doesn't cry at most tearjerker movies, was moved by. haha!

this is a must watch, hands down, although i liked ao no honoo better. smile

Uwa! I loved this SP. It was absolutely, hands-down wonderful! The way he acted and the way i pictured him saying "Sukoshi wa ongaeshi dekitakana?" just made me burst out into tears. It makes at the more heart-breaking that Kazunori is like Kazunari... and that's it's based on a true story!

Truly, truly wonderful job, Nino!!
(As well as all his dramas and movies ^^)
10/10 must watch!

I've always found myself paying more attention to nino than i need to. because along the way other characters and actors just seem to fade away or they just dont seem adequate enough. but this special really tears your gut apart because the whole cast seem to play an equally important role. nino (once again) was splendid in his role. but the mum was actually what caused the tears to flow. her love, her helplessness, her strength. and dammit the music always cues at the correct time haha!

great drama to watch. prepare tissues!
