How do you organize your CD collection?

I plan to make like a cd case out of cloth or plastic and hang them on my wall. big grin

Something to do this summer. yay!

i dont have CD TT__TT i ussually download everything. but if i have bunch of it. i'll collect them as the date i bought them

Organised by companies/general (like JE, H!P, JRock...), by groups in order of formation, then by single/album and finally by release date. I hate having a single CD out of order, and I obsessively clean them when I have some free time. Lol I'm pathetic Roll eyes

my CD collection is just all stacked up and placed here and there. I really should be more organised confused

-Plus I have a bad habit of taking one CD and placing it in another CD case. So you can imagine the frustration finding that certain CD again wink

Alphabetically by artist and then when the album came out. =] It's fun to organize things XD

i have 2 large cd cases, 2 small ones, 3 cd holders...

the 2 large cases are for audios and videos. basically they are all arranged alphabetically. audio CDs are subdivided into two (local bands/artists, foreign bands/artists) and are arranged by artist's last name (or band name itself; if various artists, the title of the compilation). videos/DVDs are arranged by title.

the 2 small ones are for anime and for mp3s. the anime case is arranged according to my favorites... the mp3s are arranged randomly. i really don't know how to organize them...

the cd holders are for softwares (the biggest) and blank discs (i have 2, one for me, the other for my friend).

well, i really can't put them all in one big case... and i still have a paperbag of videos... and i don't know where to put them... i have been busy studying that i lost track of organizing my CDs, and my school stuff is twice as messy as my CDs... confused

I dont have CDS nor DVDS.. no wait I only have one DVD of KAT-TUN.. but the rest as in dramas.. my dvd and CD cases are just 2 words: VERY UNORGANIZED glare

.. when its organized it freaks me out *shiver*

Lol me too, even when I do buy a CD I upload it to my pc and the CD just gets lost. Probably one of my friends take it.

my way of organising is to just stack them into plastic boxes.
the deeper i place the cds, the more important they are to me.
this is really wrong cause my tomadoinagara single cover is cracked...

but i have got no choice seeing that i have got NO SPACE in my room and i am super afraid that leaving my CDs and DVDs out the in the open dust will collect!!!!!!
so i seal them in air-tight plastic boxes clapping

I don't have that many CD's, but I organise by artist and per artist albums by release date. I should put them in a better place they are in now though...(well I just really need to clean my room in general whistle
