I love it when ohno sings high in Nice Na Kokoroiki in love

Also his solos in Tomadoi Nagara are superb

without any doubt; ohno HAS the best voice in Arashi....maybe the best voice in the whole JE XD
When I first came across Arashi I didn't really like Ohno...but after listening to his solos and some songs I absolutely fell for his voice, it's amazing! I love "take me far away"!!
and I like his solo part in Pikanchi double...

I often wonder about the same thing. There's nothing wrong with lip-syncs but I get this feeling that in some songs in their concert, he doesn't lip-sync (that goes to the other members as well). I don't know about the other songs but there are just some performances that the way they sing is different from the recorded ones, so there. big grin

ohno has got the most consistent voice ever!!!!
its really hard to detect if he is singing live or just plainly lip-syncing, cause he sounds exactly the same as the recorded one.
no offense to any jun fans, but the way I detect lip-syncing or live, is through jun's voice.
and sometimes sho's voice cause it tends to get louder then the rest (like massu from news, not that its a bad thing, im just saying this big grin

)
BUT OHNO, HE IS SO CONSISTENT~~~
although sometimes if the dancing gets a little to much and the panting too heavy you are able to hear smile

I love Ohno's voice, it's really one of the best (if not the best) boy band voices ever.

One of my favorite Ohno singing live moments is at the end of the A.ra.shi performance on the Time Concert DVD. Him singing those last couple slow phrases is just absolutely beautiful and seems effortless. I could listen to him sing like that forever... *swoons*.

Another nice moment from the same concert is when he sings the opening line (that everyone loves) of Kotoba Yori Taisetsu Na Mono. You can tell he's doing it live, but it sounds almost exactly like the recorded version.

I agree, I think Ohno's the best singer in JE.
I think he really deserves the title of ridaa.. he leads Arashi in singing

I can easily distinguish Ohno's voice as well as Jun's voice. Ohno usually sings higher notes. blush

Who cares if Ohno does lipsyc during concerts, it's still his voice anyway. It's also not easy to dance and sing at the same time you know. smile

I looove Ohno's voice! It's just very smooth and sweet yet sexy. He definitely deserves to be the lead singer... I also love that you can always hear his voice, even when they all sing together. It just stands out I guess, but not in an overdone way.
I've been wondering about the lip-synch thing as well. I guess you'd have to sometimes in order to dance like he does. Or for that matter they all do... When I look at their concerts, it just strikes me as impossible to sing live all the time while dancing and jumping around.
Oh one of my favorite Ohno singing moments is "Eyes with delight" on the Iza Now concert. I just think his voice sounds so soft there, I always watch that song when I'm in desperate need of something that will make me smile.

just last night... i was listening to Tomadoinagara... & i think his voice is really great! smile

he can really control it... and in the high part,he can really sing it nicely either live or not... unlike..jun.. Eh?

No one can tell me Ohno can't sing i saw performing Lucky Man during the How's It Going Concert and Ohno was holding a note while doing a hand cartwheel WTH

who does that not to mention after performing a full dance routine his voice is still great clapping

Even my mom praised his voice(she knows nothing about Japanese music)

I think their live has got to be really LIVE. I mean i understand it if Arashi lip-syncs on TV shows (although I still wish they don't) but on actual live, no way!

But going back to the topic, yes OHNO you are so talented! If only you could be more confident. I mean, he's by far the best/most talented in Arashi, right? Hands down. in love

But isn't Arashi famous for being able to sing and dance at the same time? I'm not too sure though, hehehe. In lives, I feel that they have got to do it for real. But for TV shows, where they are limited, it's okay for them to lipsync. That's what I think though.

....... yeah, i do the same thing ;x i hear for Jun or Sho's voices. especially when theres a Sho rap verse in the song... rappers' voices tend to be a little above the shouts of the concert attendants :P

it seems that Ohno's so consistent.... that he doesn't know how to adlib or vary his vocal riffs IMHO ^-^ not much of a bad thing... but at least we know he sings almost the same as if he were in the studio big grin

he's got soul in his voice, compared to the other members, especially in his vibrato. something very common in western music, as far as i'm concerned.
