Chapter 10 - Kiss & Control

One gloved hand was still over Ohno's mouth as the kidnapper threw off their mask knowing that he couldn't see their true identity. In the cover of darkness, the kidnapper smiled, knowing that Ohno would never see it coming.

Ohno POV
It all happened so quickly, I barely had time to blink or breathe. In a matter of nano-seconds, my kidnapper's lips were on mine and here I was just standing there. I didn't know what to do. Do I kick whoever this is and run away? Do I beat this person (even though they seem stronger) before running for help? Or do I kiss whoever this is back?

How many minutes had passed since these strange lips were placed upon mine? I didn't know, but I had no control over my body as my hand reached out and pulled this person closer. I felt the surprise my reaction to this had on the other person as they broke the kiss. Me being me, I pulled them back, catching their lips with mine.

Our chests pressed together...and that's when I realized... this was a man.

That realization didn't seem to bother me at all as I deepened the kiss. I could feel the stiffness of the other person's body as they tried to figure out the purpose behind my reaction, other than the possibility that I wanted to kiss them. I placed my hand around the other person's neck and pulled them closer, knowing full well what I was doing, but still being unable to believe it.

When he started kissing me back, I didn't know what to do now. Sure, this had all been my doing but... I wasn't expecting this kind of reaction from him. It made me wonder if he knew who I was or not.

I pulled away when he wrapped his hand around my waist and pulled me closer. I was afraid that he'd realize...well that I wasn't a girl and he'd freak out and run, but he didn't. If anything, he just deepened the kiss and my body grew stiff. Why is he doing this? Why is he kissing me back like this?

I felt his hand at the nape of my neck as he pulled my head closer, if that was even possible. I was practically crushing him against the wall yet he kept pulling me closer to him. The way he held me, the way his lips moved against mine... this wasn't the same quiet person I thought I knew. There was a wild side to him I guess that nobody knew about... not even Ohno himself.

It had been hours since Aki had left Ohno up on the rooftop garden, and she wondered if he was alright up there. She sat alone at the bar, drinking a rum and coke, listening to the pulsing music coming from the dance floor. She wondered where Aiba could possibly be since he was the last one of Arashi (besides Ohno) that was at the Masquerade.

After she'd came out from the elevator after leaving the garden, she ran into Batman (Sho) who was carrying a sleeping (and obviously drunk) Nino on his back.
"Sho? Where are you going with Nino-kun?" She asked him and Sho shifted Nino up higher since he was slipping.
"He drank alot...in one go, and passed out on me. So, I've decided to take him home." Sho explained, "And hey, have you seen Ohno by any chance?"
She shook her head in response, even though she knew exactly where he was and what was happening to him.
A frown crossed Sho's masked face, "Okay well, Aiba's staying behind so you can look for him when you decide you want to go home. And if you see Ohno before the night is over, can you ask him to call me?"
She felt all fuzzy the minute Sho said that Aiba was staying behind. She could finally spend time with him, away from Sho and Nino. "Yeah, I will. Get home safe!" She called as Sho left the lobby with Nino and climbed into the SUV, driving away into the night.

"Excuse me?" Aki said as she approached the front desk, "There's supposed to be a package for Aki Morishita here." The clerk nodded and excused herself to search under the front desk. She re-emerged holding a brown paper package and Aki took it and thanked the lady before she slipped into the bathroom for a costume change.

Meanwhile up on the rooftop garden, under the cover of darkness, Ohno and his mysterious stranger were still wrapped in one another's arms. He was careful about not moving too close to the light that streaked through the branches, he didn't want Ohno to see who he was.

A distant giglling and chattering tore him away from Ohno's lips as he turned away and peered into the open area. Couples were starting to flood the garden, and there was a chance that they'd be caught together. He felt Ohno pull him back again and it took everything he had to let go of him. Now that his eyes had adjusted to the dark, he could make out Ohno's form, spiky head cocked to the side, wondering why he'd stopped. Apparently, he hadn't heard that they were not alone on the rooftop anymore.

Just one more... He thought to himself as he lunged toward Ohno, crushing him against the wall, placing a tender yet passionate kiss upon Ohno's lips before he slipped away, trees rustiling as he ran through them.

Ohno slumped to the ground, placing his fingers to his lips which were still warm and tingly from the kiss. He sat, dazed and let his hand fall to his side, where they hit something hard and smooth. He picked it up and ran his hands over it, two holes for eyes, a nose and the outline of a mouth. He came to the conclusion that is was a mask. Was this what he was wearing? Ohno wondered as he continued to sit in the dark.

Author's Note Was this long enough? Sorry about the really short preview/chapter. It was more like a drabble bit, and I wanted to make a post so that's why. To make it up to you, I sort of extended it and added a bit of what Aki's doing in the middle of this.

There is a time difference between Aki sitting in the bar and ???????? and Ohno's tryst up in the garden. Aki's bar scene is hours after ???????? has left the garden and now as you can see, Aki has something planned with her costume change. You'll see with my next chapter.

i actually came home last night but i was busy writing like 3 new chapters for my other fic that i completely neglected this one.

so sorry for the extreme delay with this fic, but for everyone that has read my other story, you will probably understand why i update it all the time. i mean with all the views and the pm's and comments...so many deadlines to meet. so little time.

anyway, now that i'm back, i can promise you all a new chapter by tomorrow, after i get back home from school since i have to speak to someone about my schedule. apparently there's no more japanese classes for the upcoming semester so they put me in french and lets just say french isn't exactly my forte.

Chapter 11 - "I Like You"

Aki walked into the room crowded with dancers and searced for Aiba and his green tights. It was easier to move now that she wasn't wearing her poofy princess dress and was glad that Jun had done all this.

"Jun... could you do something about it?"
"Huh?" Jun asked confused, "What are you talking about?"
Aki shifted the phone against her ear, "Anou...about Sho being mean to Aiba-kun."
She heard Jun hum to himself, "Aki-chan, do you like Aiba?"
"EH?!" She said rather loudly into the phone, "Wha.." she was at a loss for words and was glad noone could see her flustered expression.
"I don't know for sure." She admitted after Jun huffed impatiently on the other line.
"Well," Jun said thoughtfully, "You better decide by the Masquerade."
Aki's eyes bugged out of her head, "What's with the deadline?" she asked.
"It's the only way you can probably tell him how you feel, and it gives you enough time to make sure of your feelings. Plus, I'll be able to help you at the Masquerade."
"Help how? Are you really coming to the Masquerade after all?"
Jun snorted, "Don't be ridiculous. I'm working remember. I'll help by sending you something at the hotel and there will be instructions there too...sort of."
Aki laughed, "You really like sending me gifts Jun."
"Whatever, but it's all up to you. If you decide you like him, then get the package, if not, pretend I never sent anything."

As she walked through the throng of dancing groups and couples, she caught the eye of a few people, after all, her costume was rather form fitting. She still couldn't believe Jun had sent a Catwoman costume similar to the one from the 1980's movie. What was with Jun's fascination with Batman? she wondered to herself as she ignored the cat calls from the surrounding people.

She was about to walk into the bar when she saw him talking to Yokoyama Yu in an enclosed area separate from the bar. She backtracked and stood by the glass door and motioned to one of the attendants, "Can I help you?" he asked her.
"Yes, uhm, do you have a pen and paper by any chance?"
The guy searched through his pockets and produced a pen, "Sorry, all I have is the pen."
At his side was a stack of paper napkins and Yuki grabbed one and scribbled on it, "Okay, could you please give this to that man at the back? The one in the green tights?" She asked pointing at Aiba and he nodded at her before disappearing through the glass doors.

"Sumimasen, I was asked to give this to you." He said when he approached the two men at the back. Aiba took it from him and he looked at it. All he saw was the blank side of the napkin.
"EH? Someone wanted to give me a napkin?" He asked Yu when the waiter had already disappeared, "What am I going to do with a napkin?"
"Oi, look on the other side and maybe you'll get your answer." He responded as he read Aki's message at the back of the napkin. Aiba flipped it around and saw the neat strokes on it:

Aiba,
Please come out to the dance floor.
Aki

He stared at it, confused but excited. Why does she want me to come out to the dance floor? he wondered to himself.
"Who's this Aki that wants you to come out?" Yu asked and Aiba simply shook his head in response. He didn't want to start any possible rumours by saying she was just a friend because there was no way anyone in this business would believe that.

"I'll see you later okay?" Aiba said as he crumpled up the napkin and tossed it into the wastebin before leaving the smoking room and stepping out onto the dance floor.

True to the nature of her costume, she pounced on him like a cat the minute he was out in the open. Aiba yelped in surprise and apraised this cat-like woman. "Excuse me, I'm looking for someone." he said as he tried to push her off of him then she laughed and over the pulsing music yelled, "Aiba! It's me! Aki!" She lifted his Robin mask slightly so he could see properly.
"Aki-chan! Why are you dressed like this? What happened to your dress?" He asked as he fully analyzed the form fitting costume she was wearing.
She smiled brightly and twirled around, "What do you think? Do you like it?"
Like it? Like it? Is she seriously asking me if I like what she's wearing? I always like what she's wearing.... but what I like doesn't matter. She's Aki-chan! She's 17...ah! Aiba got lost in his thoughts and as he was unable to answer Aki's question she looked at him, realizing he must be trying to figure out what he should do. She didn't want to lose this opportunity so she pulled him into the center of the dance floor and began dancing.

She swayed with the beat of the music, grinding against him, causing him to be more confused as to what he should do. Feeling his lack of response turned to face him and stood on her tiptoes and spoke into his ear with a soft but loud enough to hear voice, "Suki desu."

She pulled back and saw how his eyes were wide his mouth open slightly. The loud pulsing music had come to a stop and a slow song started to play. Couples paired off onto the dance floor, surrounding the two of them. She encircled his neck with her arms and said it again, "Aiba...suki desu. I like you."

Author's Note So there you have it, I hope it was long enough. I'm sort of on a tight schedule right now since I have a lot of things to do at present.

School officially starts next week and thankfully they pulled me out of French. I have to pick another 5 credit course though, and if I do it will re-arrange my whole schedule and I won't be with any of my friends anymore

Chapter 12 - Feelings

She pulled back and saw how his eyes were wide his mouth open slightly. The loud pulsing music had come to a stop and a slow song started to play. Couples paired off onto the dance floor, surrounding the two of them. She encircled his neck with her arms and said it again, "Aiba...suki desu. I like you."

Aiba stood there, unsure of how he should respond. Aki had just confessed her feelings for him, and he knew that he should at least say something, but what could he say? "I like you too?" "You're only 17?" "Danger?" Many different phrases went through his mind as he continued to stand, rooted to the spot. He was brought back when he felt Aki pull herself closer to him. His heart began to beat rapidly, as Aki rested her head against his shoulder. "You don't have to say anything. I just wanted you to know how I feel." When Aiba didn't make any movement at all, Aki began to wonder, Was I just imagining that he liked me? Her cheeks were stained with an embarrased blush and she began pulling away from him. Not completely letting go, but far enough to look at his face.

When their eyes met, Aiba saw the look in her face. Though it was hidden beneath the leather mask, he saw the tears welling in her eyes. His expression immediately changed from blank to apologetic. He smiled and slowly wrapped his arms around her waist. She looked back at him, surprised and confused. He pulled her closer and whispered, "Gomen. Don't feel bad, it just surprised me to hear you say that." She sniffled slightly against his shoulder. "I didn't expect you to tell me something like that, demo..." He paused and swallowed the lump in his throat, hoping that this was the right thing to tell her...

Ohno held the mask in his hands, running his fingers over the white ceramic surface. He was still in a daze from what had happened on the rooftop only hours ago and the thought of it made him blush... and panic. What he had done surprised even himself. He had no idea that he was capable of doing something like that. What on earth had possessed him to act like that? Kissing another man, wasn't exactly frowned upon, but it was smiled upon either. People who were...gay, weren't wholly accepted by society, but it wasn't a crime either. Ohno had done nothing wrong, but as an idol... it was forbidden; taboo. He had an image to uphold and if he was indeed...gay, he could lose everything. He could jeapordize his whole career and even the fate of Arashi if anyone ever found out about this.

But there was no way anyone could have right? Noone else had been on the rooftop when it had happened. Noone could have seen it happen.

Even though the possible consequences scared him, he didn't regret what he did. Just feeling those soft lips upon his, the rush it had given him... if anything, he would've done it all over again just to get that feeling again. But he knew that wasn't going to happen at all. He didn't know who this person was, and chances are he'd never see them again.

As he stepped out of the elevator and onto the main floor, he placed the mask inside his jacket pocket and returned to the party room. He glanced at his watch, it was already pretty late, and this party was bound to last till the early morning hours since there would be no work for anyone. The hardworking members of Johnny's Entertainment would be able to have a night to remember. They would be free to dance the night away with their significant other's in a way they never could in public.

When he stepped into the room, the slow, swaying music and the low lighting of the room brought a warm loving setting. Knowing that none of them had brought dates, he didn't bother to look at the dance floor to search for his friends, but when his eyes strayed for a mere moment to the centre of the dance floor, his eyes nearly popped out of his head in shock.

It couldn't be....Aiba...? He thought to himself and blinked a few times.

"I didn't expect you to tell me something like that, demo..." Aiba paused, trying to decide if he should say what he knew he had to say.
"But?" Aki pressed on, feeling nervous and hopeful.
His eyes searched for hers and in that second, words were un-needed. They understood one another perfectly.

And with that, Aki left the dance floor.

Author's Note Sorry it's taken so long for an update, and I'm also sorry it's not as long as many of you had hoped.

I've been so wrapped up with my personal life and my other writing projects... this fic has totally slipped my mind. I'm not sure when my next update will be. Hopefully sooner, and more often.
